Bold Vision: The untold story of Singapore’s reserves and its sovereign wealth fund was produced in 2021 to commemorate GIC’s 40th anniversary. Its striking cover perfectly captured the daring, entrepreneurial spirit of its founding leaders, while the thrilling story of political derring-do within captured the imaginations of its readers.

About the Author

Freddy Orchard has been director of Economics at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (1995–1997) and GIC (1989–1999). Since his retirement, he has served on the investment committees of several Singapore charities.
